About the Item

The printmaking intaglio technique called collagraph was used to make the matrix of this early to mid-1970's print. Inspired by his trips to the Southwest during this period, John Ross created may iconic images of the landscape using the collagraph printmaking technique which he mastered and taught in the many education programs he was involved with. The sheet size is 22 1/8 x 30" and image size 17 7/8 x 25 3/4." This piece is signed, titled and inscribed "4/90" in pencil.
