Martine Goeyens
Green Forest - Digital Print by Martine Goeyens - 21st Century

2000s

About the Item

Green Forest is an original digigraph realized by Martine Goeyens in the 2000s. The artwork is hand-signed in pencil by the artist on the lower right. Hand-retouched by the artist on the lower left margin. Embossed stamp of "Fondazione Di Paolo" on the lower right margin. The label of the certificate of authenticity is on the back. Very good conditions. The artwork represents a suggestive green forest. Digigraph is a technique of art printing, born with the introduction of computer systems in visual arts, added to the more ancient and traditional printing methods, such as woodcut, engraving, lithography, screen printing, etc. With this technique, the artist creates an image on the computer, with the aid of a graphics software and, therefore, that file becomes the matrix of the digigraph. Later on, the image is printed on paper or other media through digital inkjet printing. This technique offers the advantage of granting the artists total control of production over their prints.
