This contemporary seascape limited edition print by S.C. Aldo features a light, almost pastel coastal palette, and captures an abstracted view of the ocean and shoreline in the foreground, and two small white sailboats visible on the horizon.
This limited edition print is an edition size of 195. Printed with pigment ink on premium fine art paper, this print ships matted and framed in a contemporary silver frame which is wired and ready to hang. Other frame options are available in white, black, gold, natural wood, antiqued silver, antiqued gold, distressed white, or whitewashed wood. For additional sizes and frame options, please contact us.
Limited Edition prints are printed with pigment ink on a Premium Fine Art paper and designed to meet museum longevity requirements and ensure consistency. The artist has granted permission to Sorelle Gallery to produce limited edition prints of their work. Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, and ships for free.

S. C. Aldo graduated from Southern Connecticut University in New Haven, Connecticut with a BS in Art Education. After graduation she traveled extensively throughout the United States and to parts of South America. In 2007 she received a Masters in Art from The College of Saint Rose in Albany, New York. Aldo has been creating paintings for over 30 years along with being an entrepreneur.
"My paintings are inspired by the complexity of light and hues of the ocean,” Aldo says. “I paint to evoke strong moods, from tranquility to hopefulness. These scenes can be emotive for the viewer with strong contrasts between pessimistic shadows and positive luminescence. I like how these forces of nature play against one another and remind us how we really have little control in our everyday lives."
Her paintings are part of private collections throughout the world.

A few words of the artist about his art:
When i painting landscapes, I usually choose simple geometric arrangements, contrasts of verticals and levels. I juxtapose the smooth surface of the sky with the rough texture of earth or grass.
I paint symmetrical reflections in water and rhythmic repetitions of trees. Even an ordinary, seemingly uninteresting fragment of the suburban landscape hides a beauty that I want to see and then transfer to the canvas.
I am inspired by nature because it contains a hidden secret of existence. For me, painting it is a reflection on life and passing away. It is an attempt to capture the imperceptible essence, to paint what cannot be seen.
I think that my paintings can be a respite, an antidote for a man tired of technology, constant rush, hustle and bustle of the city.
