Abstract painter, printmaker, and stained glass artist Mary Ascher (1900-1963) was born in Leeds, England and active in New York City, New York. She studied at the New York School of Applied Design for Women and the Art Students League.
Ascher depicted scenes from the Bible and religious figures and was notable for her depictions of women.
