A very nice poster made in 1948 by Michel Hove to promote the United Nations appeal for children.
At the end of the Second World War, famine and disease were threatening the children of Europe. In December 1946, the United Nations created the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) to provide them with emergency health assistance.
