Cellarius Andreas Coppia di Mappe Celesti Acquarellate XVIII Secolo intitolate: Planisphaerivm Aratevm sive Compages Orbivm Mvndanorvm ex Hypothesi Aratea in Plano Expressa e Planisphaerium Braheum, sive Structura Mundi Totius ex Hypothesi Tychonis Brahei in Plano Delineata. Tratte da Harmonia Macrocosmica, un atlante degli astri risalente al Secolo d’oro della cartografia olandese, mappa la struttura del cielo in ventinove straordinarie tavole a doppia pagina, pubblicato ad Amsterdam nel 1708 da Gerard Valk and Petrus Schenk. Le meravigliose carte celesti di questa opera astronomica illustrano il movimento di sole e pianeti e le costellazioni, offrendo un excursus storico delle diverse teorie del cosmo enunciate da Tolomeo, Copernico e Tycho Brahe, più che nuove intuizioni scientifiche. La bellezza del disegno e la profusione di dettagli le collocano al vertice della cartografia artistica. Ogni foglio a doppia pagina misura cm 44 x 53 e si presenta entro cornice lignea dorata. La prima è un carta celeste geocentrica basata sulle osservazioni del poeta greco Arato, la seconda rappresenta il modello di universo dell’astronomo danese Tycho Brahe. Come compromesso tra i modelli di Tolomeo e Copernico, l’astronomo danese Tycho Brahe propose un modello dell’Universo con la Terra al centro e il Sole e la Luna che girano intorno alla Terra, mentre gli altri pianeti ruotano intorno al Sole. Sono raffigurate le quattro lune di Giove e intorno alla mappa sono rappresentati i segni zodiacali.La carta include un ritratto di Tycho Brahe in basso a destra. Questa coppia di stampe antiche con coloritura coeva proviene da una collezione privata milanese e si presenta in buono stato generale di conservazione con segni di usura compatibili alla datazione. Il lato inferiore di una delle due incisioni denuncia minime ticchiolature e due piccoli fori. Periodo: 1700 Altezza: 59 cm Larghezza: 67,5 cm Profondità: 3 cm Per l'esportazione dall'Italia di un oggetto d'arte antico va richiesta al Ministero Italiano dei Beni Culturali una licenza di esportazione chiamata BELLE ARTI. il rilascio di tale licenza governativa richiede un paio di settimane circa, da aggiungere ai tempi di spedizione dell'ordine.
