Original vintage poster issued by the Empire Marketing Board (EMB 1926-1933) as part of a campaign to promote trade within the British Empire featuring a colourful illustration by the British painter and graphic artist Elijah Albert Cox (1876-1955) showing people working on a sugarcane plantation during the farming harvest with the title below - The Empire's Sugar Cane. Printed for HM Stationery Office by John Waddington Ltd Leeds & London. Horizontal. Good condition, minor staining, small tears on edges, backed on board.
