Original vintage travel poster for Mar Del Plata El Gran Balneario / The Great Spa featuring a dynamic Art Deco design by the Argentine painter Ernesto Scotti (1901-1957) depicting three people on a beach with the blue sea and clouds in the background, one wearing a yellow rain coat and hat, the man in the centre wearing a flat cap and bow tie and the lady on the right wearing a swimming costume and swim cap above the title in bold diagonal lettering and rest of the text below. The coastal resort city of Mar Del Plata is located on the Atlantic Ocean in the Buenos Aires Province of Argentina South America. Issued by the Propaganda and Promotion Association. Large size. Good condition, restored folds, restored paper losses, restored tears, staining, ink stamp on reverse visible, backed on linen.
