Original vintage post-war London Underground Transport poster for London Piccadilly Circus featuring artwork by the notable British artist Fred Taylor (1875-1963) showing people walking in and out of the tube station with red London buses, cars and taxis driving around Eros / the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain statue of Anteros set within a lined frame border with the London Transport roundel and a poetic quote below: "Gay shops, stately palaces, bustle and breeze, The whirring of wheels, and the murmur of trees, By night, or by day, whether noisy or stilly, Whatever my mood is - I love Piccadilly." One of a series printed by the Baynard Press. Good condition, restored tears, restored paper losses, minor staining, backed on linen.
