Original vintage exhibition poster - Original Drawing by over one hundred artists UK & US Laugh exhibition of British and American humorous art Sponsored by Punch in aid of the Soldiers’, Sailors’ and Airmen’s Families Association at the Tea Centre Lower Regent Street SW1 December 1-31 Monday to Saturday admission one shilling children sixpence - featuring a bright cartoon style design by the notable graphic designer and poster artist Frederic Henri Kay Henrion (1914-1990) showing the profile of two smiling men facing each other, a British man wearing a bowler hat with a Union Jack flag over his eye and an American man with a beard and wearing a top hat with a Stars and Stripes USA flag over his eye, set against a yellow background with the stylised lettering above and below. Founded in 1885, the Soldiers', Sailors' & Airmen's Families Association SSAFA supports service men and women, veterans and their families. c.1960. Good condition, creasing, tears, small paper loss on bottom edge, staining.
