Original vintage travel poster for Scotland The Land of Romance issued by Anchor Line New York and Glasgow featuring stunning artwork by Frederick Charles Herrick (1887-1970) of a stag standing proudly on a rock with green trees and rolling hills below an orange and yellow sky in the background. Anchor Line (1855-1980) was a Scottish shipping company founded by Thomas Henderson in Glasgow offering an affordable passenger service. Printed in Great Britain by Sanders Phillips and Co Ltd, The Baynard Press. Good condition, restored paper loss in top right corner, restored tears, light fold, minor staining, backed on linen.
