From the original printing but sold at the time in the London Transport poster shop hence overprinted "This is a reproduction of a poster designed for London Transport"
Chapman attended the Epsom School of Art and the RCA where she studied illustration and graphics. Her posters for London Transport are amongst her best works.

Gaynor Chapman
Gaynor Chapman was born in London. She studied at the Epsom School of Art from 1951–52, Kingston School of Art from 1952–55 and Royal College of Art in 1955–58. Chapman worked mainly as a book illustrator and tutor in graphic design. In addition to work for London Transport, she had completed graphic designs for Air France, British Petroleum, Shell and the Central Office of Information. She has designed wallpaper for I.C.I. and a 20-foot mural in the ship S.S. Dover. Chapman worked in several media, including gouache, poster color, waterproof ink and candlewax.
