Original vintage advertising poster for an art exhibition of graphic artwork by the notable artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec (1865-1901) at Galerie Des Ponchettes Ville de Nice from 30 January to 15 March 1954, featuring a painting by Toulouse Lautrec - At the Moulin Rouge La Goulue and Her Sister / Au Moulin Rouge, La Goulue et sa soeur (1892) - depicting two ladies standing in a room with other elegantly dressed ladies and gentlemen wearing suits and top hats in the background. Louise Weber (1866-1929) aka the Queen of Montmartre with the stage name La Goulue / The Gourmand was a famous can-can dancer at the Moulin Rouge (opened 1889) cabaret nightclub. Good condition, creasing, staining, pinholes.
