Original vintage World War Two propaganda poster - Loose Talk Can Cost Lives Closed for the Duration - featuring great artwork by Howard Scott (1902-1983) depicting a man with tape stuck over his mouth in a X cross shape to show no talking with the bold lettering above and below on the pale green background. Distributed in the interest of national defense, and as a means of obtaining funds for ambulances wherever needed, British and American Ambulance Corps, Inc, 120 Lexington Avenue, New York City. Good condition, restored paper losses, restored pinholes, minor staining, backed on linen.
