Original vintage election propaganda poster - Batir la France avec le peuple MRP Mouvement Republicain Populaire / Building France with the people Popular Republican Movement - featuring an illustration of a muscular sculptor working with a hammer and chisel on a sculpture of Marianne the personification of the French Republic in a red liberty cap or Phrygian cap set over a blue background with the tools and red paint pot in the foreground. The Popular Republican Movement in France was a Christian Democratic political party from 1944 to 1967. Large size. Fair condition, folds, creasing, several small tears, small paper losses, discolouration, minor staining, foxing.
