About the Item
Original vintage car advertising poster issued by the French automobile manufacturer Citroen (founded 1919) featuring a great photograph of a dark green 1960 Citroen DS car speeding along a road towards the viewer, the driver wearing a suit and a white bowtie with the word citroen in white below the blurred yellow divider line. Produced from 1955-1975, the futuristic Space Age Citroen DS (in French Deesse sounds like Goddess) was designed by Flaminio Bertoni as a sedan model, wagon/estate and convertible car; it was named the most beautiful car of all time by Classic & Sports Car magazine in 2009. Very good condition, minor creasing, browning.
