Original vintage screen printed poster for the Carifesta 81 Barbados Cuba featuring a colourful design depicting a person standing between trees holding a basket on his head with the rays from the sun radiating out of it against the green hill in the background, the title text above and below. Carifesta '81 was the fourth Caribbean Festival of Art and Culture (the first held in Guyana in 1972) that included performances, workshops, community visits, music, theatre, dance, exhibitions and a parade. Good condition, crease marks, repaired tears.
