Original vintage travel poster for Tarragona City of Roman Monuments / Ciudad de Monumentos Romanos issued by the PNT Patronato Nacional Del Turismo featuring a great design by Pascual Capuz (1882-1959) depicting the ancient 1st century AD Torre de los Escipiones / Tower of the Scipios Roman ruins showing the statues on the sides of the historic funerary tower with trees in the foreground and sailing boats visible at sea below the green shaded sky in the background, the bold stylised lettering above and below with the PNT logo in gold against the blue border. The port city of Tarragona is located in the Catalonia region of Spain; the area is home to many archaeological sites from its time as the Roman colony of Tarraco and now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Excellent condition, some minor printing errors, backed on linen.
