Stacey Steers lives and works in Boulder, Colorado, where she is on the faculty of the Film Studies Program at the University of Colorado. Her animated films have been screened at The Sundance Film Festival, “New Directors/New Films” (The Museum of Modern Art and The Film Society of Lincoln Center), and numerous other festivals worldwide, and have won national and international awards. She is the recipient of a major grant from The American Film Institute, and has been awarded residencies at Harvard University, The MacDowell Colony, and The Sacatar Foundation.
