The National Savings Movement, which we know so well, has its counterpart in every one of the other self-governming countries of the Commonwealth. Here in Britain, as elsewhere, the reward of thrift is national as well as personal prosperity. It builds up our financial and economic strength. It is a sure way to self reliance and confidence in the future.
We must play our part by continuing to support our own National Savings Movement.
