Large Early Original Antique Car Poster For The Voiturette CLC Automobile Paris

Original antique early car advertising poster for the Voiturette CLC miniature automobile Moteur sans soupapes / Engine without valves featuring a fantastic illustration showing a lady wearing a fashionable dress and hat climbing into a red Voiturette car, with a smiling face formed by the company letters CLC at the front, next to the driver in uniform in a picturesque old town setting with fields leading to a bright yellow sky in the distance, the stylised title text in white and black letters above and address below - 165 Avenue d'Italie Paris. The French automobile manufacturer CLC Cockborne, Lehucher et da Costa was based in Paris and assembled these classic cars from 1911 to 1913. The French automobile manufacturer and inventor Leon Bollee (1870-1913) registered the Voiturette name (a diminutive from the French word Voiture for Car or Automobile) for his new motor tricycle in 1895 and the popular term was used during the early years of the motor industry to describe small cars (including Renault's first car the Renault Voiturette / Renault Little Car 1898-1903).
