About the Item
Original vintage ski and winter sport travel poster promoting the Garmisch Classic ski resort of Kreuzeck in the alps mountain range of Bavaria in Germany. Stunning Art Deco style image depicting two people skiing at speed through fresh white snow below a cable car ski lift with a snow topped chalet and trees leading to mountains in the background, the stylised text above and below: Kreuzeck Garmisch Partenkirchen. The downhill alpine ski area in Kreuzeck was developed for the 1936 Winter Olympics held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Good condition, creasing, repaired tears on edges, minor foxing, red splatter stain on the left side.
