Original vintage Soviet propaganda poster - Great Buildings of Communism - featuring a pictorial map design with an illustration of the Moscow Kremlin and skyscrapers in the capital city linked by power lines to the Kuybyshev Hydroelectric Station (now the Zhiguli Hydroelectric Station in Russia) / Куйбышевская ГЭС and the Stalingrad / Volgograd Hydroelectric Power Station (now the Volga Hydroelectric Station) Сталинградская ГЭС with the Tsimlyansk Hydroelectric Station, Dnieper Hydroelectric Station and Kakhovka Dam Hydroelectric Station, the aerial view including the Sea of Azov and Black Sea, the Caspian Sea and Aral Sea and cities across the former USSR countries including Leningrad (now St Petersburg), Kiev in Ukraine, Tbilisi in Georgia and Ashgabat in Turkmenistan with bridges and railway links, the information in a text box below detailing the hydroelectric stations, their construction and the amount of electric power they generate, with the title in bold stylised lettering above the coat of arms of the Soviet Union set within an oak leaf decorated frame around the image.
