Original vintage sport poster - World Cup July 1966 England - featuring a football and the FIFA World Championship tournament logo on a Union Jack flag background above the bold title text in black and red in the centre with a globe and the Jules Rimet Trophy below. The 1966 World Cup Final was held at Wembley Stadium in London and was won by England in extra time, beating West Germany 4-2; the England team was captained by Bobby Moore (Robert Frederick Chelsea Moore; 1941-1993). Printed for the Football Association by McCorquodale and Co Ltd. Good condition, folds, creasing, tears, minor staining.
