Original vintage travel advertising poster - Peterborough See Britain by Train British Railways - featuring a great scenic view by Kenneth Steel (1906-1970) of The Cathedral and Deanery with green trees in the foreground, the text and British Railways logo below. The historic cathedral city of Peterborough is located in Cambridgeshire; The Cathedral Church of St Peter, St Paul and St Andrew (built 1118–1237) features mainly Norman and Romanesque architecture with an Early English Gothic facade; the Deanery also dates to the 12th-13th century. Printed by Fleming and Humphreys (Baylis) Ltd. Good condition, restored tears, restored paper losses, minor staining, backed on linen.
