Original vintage travel advertising poster for The Caribbean fly there by BOAC featuring a colourful image of a smiling Caribbean lady dancing in a traditional dress and wearing a headscarf, necklaces, bracelets and hoop earrings, her skirt sweeping around against the yellow and white background with the stylised title text above. British Overseas Airways Corporation in association with Qantas Empire Airways Limited and South African Airways. The British Overseas Airways Corporation / BOAC was the British state airline created in 1940-1946 as the result of a merger, introducing the world’s first passenger jets to its service in 1952 and merging again in 1971-1974 to create British Airways / BA. Printed by Sun Printers Ltd (GB). Excellent condition, backed on linen.
