Original Vultee "Vengeance" World War II, 1942, vintage spotter airplane poster.
Original linen-backed U. S. Naval Aviation Training Division, Nov., 1942 poster showing the Vulte "Vengeance" airplane. This dive bomber was referred to as the Army A-31 or the U. K. "Vengeance". The wingspan of 48' 0"; length of 40' 0' and has a swept forward appearance of the wings, odd wing shape; and narrow wingtips. Dive Bomber
Naturally, during WWII it was important to know if incoming aircraft were ours or those of our enemies. The poster as shows the perspective of the airplane to a 6-foot tall man.
This was a restricted poster and not made available to the public for quite some time.

- Condition:Original 1942 vintage military poster that is archival linen backed in very good condition. A couple of white touched up scuff marks on the surface were correct during linen backing. Very clean, ready to frame. A - A- minus condition.
