Danvers (Verney Lionel Danby Danvers; 1895-1973) of a view on the historic Little Shambles street depicting a lady carrying buckets with washing and laundry tubs on the narrow cobblestones between the medieval buildings, the title above and information in French on the margin below - York via Chemins de Fer de Londres et de Nord-Est de la Grande Bretagne. Printed by Ben Johnson & Co Ltd York. Fair condition, restored folds, restored tears, restored paper losses, minor staining, backed on linen.
