Patty deGrandpre’s “Show’s about Nature / Small Point 1” is a unique abstract 7.5 x 7.5 inch inkjet print on 11 x 11 inch photo paper with a suggested double exposure of 2 landscapes with an over lay of striated blue hues that were derived from a picture taken of a broken television screen. The graphic blue image on the top of this print contrasts with the suggested warm toned coastline and is from her “Broken Television” series. Patty deGrandpre’s small contemporary works have a powerful effect as the viewer is compelled to look closer at the layers and hues. Each unique image is inkjet printed only once, on Red River Polar Matte photo paper, and is signed and dated bottom right. This print will ship flat in a protective sleeve ready for the frame of your choice. This modern landscape would make a striking addition to any contemporary collection.

Patty deGrandpre
Patty deGrandpre is a New Mexico based artist. She received her BFA in Visual Design at Southeastern Massachusetts University in 1987. Her studio is in her home in Lamy, New Mexico. She has participated in many shows, both juried and invitational, at local, regional and national levels. In addition to three solo exhibitions, she has received accolades and awards over the years in both Fine Art and Printmaking.

Frank Schott grew up in Germany and attended the prestigious Academy of Arts in Cologne, studying under Professor Arno Jansen, who was an early influence.
