Hand-signed and numbered, edition of 18/70 prints.
The artwork is realized delicately to represent a well-known folktale creature, Baba Gaya, through dominant interwoven green and blue tones with variations of intensity. In Slavic folklore, Baba Yaga is a supernatural being, who appears with a deformed angry-looking woman, and dwells deep in the forest in a hut usually described as standing on chicken legs. According to Propp's folktale morphology, Baba Yaga commonly comes as either a giver or a villain.
