"Interpol is one of my favorite bands, and I’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with them throughout the years. My first introduction to them was when I stalked them backstage at Coachella and offered to create art for them if they ever needed it… to my surprise, they knew my work already and decided to take me up on my offer. My first project with Interpol was in 2004 when I created art for the follow up to their debut album, “Antics.” Ten years later in 2014, I was approached with another opportunity to not only create a print but also to paint a mural for their fifth studio album, “El Pintor.” I’m excited to announce that I’ll be releasing a new print that I created in honor of their upcoming show in New York at Madison Square Garden on February 16th! ... I think that art and music together are even more powerful than either individually!" – Shepard

Fairey’s iconic poster of President Barack Obama was adopted as the official emblem associated with the presidential campaign and encapsulates a number of recurring concerns in the artist’s work, including propaganda, portraiture and political power.

A rare assemblage of 60 hand-signed Shepard Fairey screen-prints; collected over a near 15 year period (2009-2022). Notable imagery includes: Bob Marley, Keith Haring, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Kurt Cobain, as well as a series of vivid anti-war pieces defining the artist's practice (title list found further below). Each very well-preserved.
Medium: Screen-prints on heavy paper. 2009-2022 (see below for a list of titles & years).
Dimensions ranging from: 19.5 x 16 inches to 24x36 inches.
Each work is hand-signed; works are either numbered from their respective main editions or notated 'AP' (see last listing image); a few or several works are signed, but not numbered.
Excellent overall condition with the exception of perhaps some minor signs of handling on a few examples.
Provenance: Private collection New York via Shepard Fairey.
