Erik Pawassar's work focuses on the beauty of the disregarded or mundane object. The subjects for his striking and captivating visuals are typically set in the most ordinary environments, drawing the viewer into a charged but serene experience based on composition, palette and formal lines. Saturated in color, the nominal subjects gather a haunting and mesmerizing quality, creating a poignant pretext for the making of a formal color photograph.
Decisively capturing the traces left by humanity, Pawassar's images are filled with a sense of universal nostalgia and pay homage to the passage of time and the extinguished moment, referencing documentary and street photographers like Henri Cartier-Bresson, Sebastian Salgado...

Carole Feuerman is one of the world’s foremost hyperrealist sculptors. Her resin, bronze and marble sculptures of swimmers and bathers evoke notions of tranquility and serenity.
Feuerman’s life-like works are nearly indistinguishable from the subjects that inspire them.
Her newest silkscreen edition is a testament to the same sense of realism. Soft and subtle blends of color support the tactile qualities of her bathing caps...

“Still Life with Clock Radio” Contemporary Still-life Photo with Vintage Tech
Located in Brooklyn, NY
“Still Life with Spy Camera” continues my exploration of vintage tech begun in my "Tech Vanitas" series. Surrounded by rich silks and patterned wallpapers, playful still lifes of familiar gadgets suggest 17th Century Dutch paintings. My photographs display a fascination with dated merchandise, industrial design, and scientific ingenuity. The tech in this photograph include a Kodak Brownie camera, touchtone phone, oil lamp with electric candle, 8-track tape, hard drive, pliers, battery, and a vintage clock radio. What becomes of the beloved tech that stops working or becomes obsolete? My still lifes examine the present and the past of technology without easy answers but rather with a sense of wonder and trepidation.

Two Flies on a Bentwood Chair: colorful rainbow pop art landscape Micheal Hurson
Located in New York, NY
A colorful pop art drawing of a whimsical landscape scene featuring red flowers, green trees, yellow sun, and blue sky and clouds with cubist furniture on a front porch. Two flies converse over bentwood chairs drawn in black, red and white, in this whimsical work by famed New York artist Michael Hurson. Framed in white enamel.
Paper 23.5 x 32.5 in. / 59.5 x 82.5 cm
Frame 27 x 35 x 2 in. / 68.5 x 89 x 5 cm
Two Flies on a Bentwood Chair by Michael Hurson. Lithograph on white paper with silkscreen on plexiglass, in a cream-colored lacquer frame. Edition 70: this impression 56/70. Signed by the artist with initials and numbered 56/70 in pencil lower right. Prepackaged and framed: ready to ship immediately, and ready to hang out of the box.
This mixed-media lithograph with silkscreen portrays the colorful scene of a lush, sun-drenched front porch. Hurson's whimsical play on geometry and three-dimensionality is enhanced by the layers of plexiglass and paper upon which the image is printed. In the center of the composition, printed on the base layer of paper, a bright yellow sun sits atop a liquid, sky-blue background, and a jaunty, crayon-textured cloud. A porch door...
