About the Item
Robert Kushner’s “Spring X” is a captivating monoprint that embodies the artist’s unique approach to blending figuration with ornamental design. Created on handmade paper, this one-of-a-kind work measures 18 x 24 inches (45.7 x 61 cm) and is in good condition. The piece is a striking example of Kushner’s ability to merge intricate line work with richly textured surfaces, resulting in a composition that is both delicate and bold.
The artwork features a stylized portrait rendered in black, set against a textured background of handmade paper infused with subtle shades of lavender and flecks of natural materials. The handmade paper adds a tactile quality to the work, enhancing its organic and artisanal feel.
