Endless summer is a Limited edition hand coloured collograph print by Vicky Oldfield. Each print is individually painted, making every one unique.
Vicky Oldfield is available online and in our gallery at Wychwood Art. Vicky is the artist is renowned for her distinctive pictures; the subjects are the story of her fascination with life, whether a still life on a rainy day or a collection of found objects from a walk with her dog, through the British countryside. Vicky Oldfield’s works are produced by a variety of materials: wire, etching, oil sticks, tissue paper and coloured card. A collage is made up with these materials and then placed in a metal press. A print is taken of the design and then reworked with colour on top. Her flower designs are bold and striking there is nothing wilting about these compositions what so ever Vicky Oldfield has exhibited twice in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, selling her entire editions on preview night, she is regularly selected for the major London competitions and shows.
Vicky is an artist and printmaker who likes to find beauty in the everyday – some weeds on a road side, or a cluttered windowsill can set off a new collection. She treasures both the eccentric and the ordinary, inspired by collections of found objects and natural forms; she is fascinated with the structure and design found in flowers and plants, often redrawing the same plant many times over to explore the subtle variations in its form.
Thanks to the process itself, Vicky is able to make small editions of the image; each edition will vary within its run due to the process itself and her desire to experiment. Each print produced is then unique.
After leaving school, Vicky attended Art College and then worked as a commercial designer in wallpaper and textiles in both London and Paris before becoming a full time artist in 2008.
Her work has been exhibited in many major shows including the Royal Academy Summer exhibition and The Royal Society of British Artists, she has also exhibited in America and Japan. Her work can currently be seen in many galleries across the UK.

Bashful is a limited edition print by Simon Dry. Limited edition print of the original ‘Bashful’ Pink Shrimp Sweet image by Simon Dry. The first print onto Fabriano paper is over painted in white by Simon and then over printed again to create a uniquely textured hand finished surface. Each print becomes a richly coloured and individual piece of art in a limited edition of 50, signed and numbered by the artist.
Simon Dry trained as a graphic designer, graduating with a BA (Hons) from Ravensbourne College of Art & Design. He has run Drydesign in London, Dublin and Suffolk, using skills learned in this time to create SweetArt along with his wife, Vic. Haworthia Fasciata is a limited edition still life print by Kerry Day. Reduction linocuts are printed from one piece of lino, cutting it again for each new colour in the design. All the prints for an edition have to be printed before moving on to the next colour, because once the lino is re-cut you can’t make any more. Depending on how many colours are use, at the end there may be very little of the lino block left uncut.
