About the Item
These sculptures were inspired by the spirituality of the twelve-step programs and the eight-fold path of Buddhism. Meshing these philosophies with meditation led me to express these small sculptures to achieve the connection between art and spirit. Wire figures seated on, or walking, the stairs seek to evoke a simple narrative between the art and the viewer. It is hoped that viewers can design their own story of these diminutive figures in a quest for serenity and spiritual fulfillment. All of these sculptures are new and located in Los Angeles, CA

Jean Adele Wolff
Jean received her Bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Wisconsin. She continued her studies in sculpture and painting at Otis Art Institute, Los Angeles, CA and the University of California, Los Angeles. Jean Wolff’s artwork has been exhibited in numerous galleries and owned in public and private collections throughout the United States.
