Jun Kaneko, born in Nagoya, Japan in 1942, has continually experimented with the traditional bounds of the ceramic medium. He moved to the United States in 1963 and studied with noted ceramic artists Peter Voulkos, Paul Soldner, and Jerry Rothman.
