Morling's ceramic sculptures have been shown internationally at Bergdorf Goodman in New York, Liberty’s London, Miami, Italy, Kuwait, Algiers, Germany and France. She has also had solo exhibitions in Sweden, The Netherlands and throughout the UK.
In 2019, Katharine Morling’s work was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. It was the fifth time that Katharine Morling has exhibited in the Summer Exhibition and “Cut”, an over-sized chainsaw is the largest piece which Morling has shown to date.

Midnight Blue, a ceramic relief sculpture of high-fired porcelain pigmented with oxides, paint and epoxy, is a recent work by New York artist Harold Wortsman. This sculpture is ready to be mounted to the wall. Note the artist's hand in the mark-making – cuts and radiating lines, the suggestion of maps, geometry and counting systems – it is characteristic of Wortsman's practice. Warm, contemporary, uniquely crafted, yet speaks to ancient, tribal traditions of art-making that cross cultures and histories. Highly attuned to the art of Africa, the Middle East, India and Asia, his forms are organic abstracts with masculine and feminine attributes that resonate together as a pleasing enigma. They make sense immediately, yet never give up all their secrets.
Midnight Blue was recently exhibited at Harold Wortsman: Time and Space, Orange Art Foundation, New York City, February 2022.
From Harold Wortsman – "With sculpture, my material of choice is high-fired clay. Pieces are first low-fired in an electric kiln. I do not use glazes. Instead, I use oxides applied to the bisqued (low-fired) clay. As with a tattoo, oxides permit the surface underneath to breathe—like naked skin. The work is then high-fired in a gas kiln with double reduction to cone 10. The final temperature is 2,300 degrees F. At a certain point, oxygen intake is reduced to the kiln. Because the fire has reached a critical mass, it needs oxygen and chemically takes it from the clay and the oxides painted on. Like a jazz improvisation, each kiln load comes out slightly different."

Sam Chung lives and works in Tempe, AZ. He is a ceramic artist and Professor of Art at Arizona State University. As a second-generation Korean-American, he explores pottery that reframes historical ceramics from a cross-cultural perspective and explores the metaphorical role of the vessel. In his current work, he references traditional Korean cloud motifs and pottery shapes while juxtaposing past with present through his vivid, graphicly painted imagery. The clouds represent a phenomenon that is constantly in flux and correspond to his own questions of belonging within or outside of a culture.

In 2019, Katharine Morling’s work was selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition. It was the fifth time that Katharine Morling has exhibited in the Summer Exhibition and “Cut”, an over-sized chainsaw is the largest piece which Morling has shown to date.
After graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2009, she was awarded first prize at the 2010 World Crafts Council Triennial in Belgium. Morling also represented the UK at the 2010 European Ceramic Context in Denmark. For COLLECT 2011, she showed a new installation Out of the House in the Project Space of the Saatchi Gallery. Other projects include created a large wall mounted installation for the new children’s ward commissioned by the Royal London Hospital through Vital Arts and a contemporary dance piece at the Royal Opera House...

Some of his honors include receiving the emerging artist award from the National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts (NCECA), being selected as a guest of honor at the XXIst International Biennial of Vallauris, France, & being selected as a finalist for the 2017 Elizabeth R. Raphael Founder’s Prize. Jeremy is currently an Assistant Professor of Ceramics at Coastal Carolina University and resides in Conway, SC.
