About the Item
Circus 1 is a wall sculpture inspired by the playful musings of Alexander Calder’s Circus. The wit and whimsy of the circus are referred to in the colors, forms, spontaneity and movement in this piece. It is solidly constructed of welded aluminum with painted wood insets and is extremely durable.
Layered wooden striations are paired with painted aluminum geometry to compose a wall sculpture which protrudes from the wall to create shadows and solidity of form.
The wall sculptures are very durable, fabricated from welded aluminum and painted with enamel paint. They are coated in an archival varnish which is UV resistant.
Each wall sculpture is easily installed with a full size template and wall anchors which are included in the custom shipping crate.
The three dimensionality of the piece allows for shifting views from multiple angles.
