About the Item

This limited edition, bronze sculpture is made using the lost wax method of casting, and is hand finished. The polished bronze finish is a "jeweler's finish." This sculpture rests on a Belgian Black Marble base, which is now considered very hard to find. "Premiere Dansuese" translates to "Prima Ballerina." The heart and hands of the sculptor have created the movement of the ballerina on toe.
