Catherine Bohrman's bronze sculptures encompass gestural form with figurative elements. Her international style has been noted to possess soft edges that belie the magnitude of their density. Her sculpture "Chrysalis" is a museum quality bronze with a very unique blue patina created for her at her foundry in northern, CA. The sculptors challenge is exploring and discovering physical space within a form. I work to make my sculptures beautiful, romantic and sensual to the eye. I love creating visual lines that catch the eye and leads to another space either real or not. I also love color and how it creates moods and soul in a piece. --
