The edition of the bronzes is limited by law to 8 copies, supplemented by 4 annotated artist's proofs. EA and numbered from I to IV, making a total of 12 copies. The bronzes are signed, numbered and marked with the founder's stamp. All were made with the agreement and control of the artist.

Jacques Coquillay was born on June 3, 1935. He entered the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Tours in the sculpture section. In 1958, he obtained the National Diploma in Sculpture and studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in the workshop of Marcel Gimond. In 1960, he obtained the Higher Diploma in Plastic Art then he entered the Workshop of Hubert Yencesse and Raymond Corbin. In 1961, he was awarded the Prix de Rome Jury, where he met Jean Carton, Raymond Martin and Georges Hilbert with whom he became friends and formed a group of Young Sculptors supported by Paul Belmondo. For his works, Jacques Coquillay has received numerous awards: in 1965 he won the Oise General Council prize, in 1970 the Signature prize, and a gold medal in sculpture was awarded to him by the Society of French Artists. A retrospective of his work took place in 1992 at the Salon d’Automne and his works, exhibited in the USA and Europe, achieved international notoriety.

Gunnar Knut Nilsson, born 1904 in Karlskrona, died 1995 in Versailles in France, was a Swedish sculptor. Gunnar Nilsson studied watercolor painting and modeling at the Technical Vocational School in Karlskrona in 1918-19 and on his own in addition to working as a clerk at Finspångs Metallwerk. His debut exhibition was in Finspång in 1927.
