About the Item
I have ordered a Sensuous Woman. It will be ready to paint mid- May. I can leave it all polished or paint it with a BMW white dress or a Ferrari red dress using the car paint Galsurit.
Sensuous Woman as pictured is a polished bronze. It is sealed with automotive finish, so it never needs to be polished. The base is black marble, 2"h x 6"d. Sculpture is 20"h.
The dynamic sculpture moves at the shoulders, hips and note the overlap of the knees, she is dancing. David was inspired from the Art Deco sculptures of Demetre Chiparus. In his style the form is pared down to essentials. He went on to carve a wood of Sensuous at 5 feet tall and 7 feet tall, both in private collections. You can also consider a commission of Sensuous at the larger sizes. Contact me for details.
