This figurative bronze sculpture is a portrait of a standing young man.
Bronze, 112 cm × 29 cm × 21 cm. Edition of 8 + 4 artist's proofs.
For each sculpture the artist draws her inspiration from her souvenirs, those of African and Asian landscapes. Whatever the initial image, there is always an emotion attached: "I can only work when I am in an emotional state," says the artist. Emotion as sole guide and at the finish line, an invitation on a voyage steeped in a unique poetry which sends the observer into a state of contemplation.
