Anne Andersson was born in Gothenburg, Sweden, with a great desire to explore Nature and a Passion for Art. She received a degree in science in 1981 from Kjällbergska University in Gothenburg and a degree in Art from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. She now works from her studio in St. Petersburg, Florida as a Sculptor, illustrator and painter. Her work calls to mind the animalia artworks of Henri Maik and Gustavo Novoa.
Anne Andersson's artwork serves as an homage to our planet’s charismatic and rare wild animals. Inspired by the majesty and beauty of exotic wildlife, and motivated by an urge to preserve them, Anne’s astonishingly realistic life-size sculptures capture the experience of seeing these animals up close without exploiting them. Her sculpted work using natural materials and clay, provides a humane alternative to big game trophy hunting and taxidermy.
She combines her talents in painting, tapestry weaving and illustration with an intuitive attention to the smallest detail to truly bring her sculptures to life. She has created lions, tigers, leopards, jaguars, cheetahs, bobcats, lynxes, pumas, elephants, rhinos, bears, water buffalo, bison, moose, wolves, coyotes and more—but she feels closest to the big cats. Kyungmin Park is a figurative ceramic sculptor drawing inspiration from childlike perspectives. Contrasting the darker emotions and restricted psyche of adulthood with the boundless consciousness of children, Kyungmin’s sculptures confront the view with uncomfortable juxtapositions, encouraging reflection upon personal expectations and narratives. Kyungmin largely uses handbuilding techniques to construct her figures out of porcelain, a material she prefers for its ability to contrast starkly with bright and colorful decoration.
Originally from South Korea, Kyungmin earned her MFA in Ceramics from the University of Georgia in 2012 and her BFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University in 2008.

JIM PALLAS (1941-) American painter, draughtsman, sculptor, and printmaker. An innovator of technological art beginning in the early 1960s, Pallas drew inspiration from his upbringing in Detroit, Michigan where he had early exposure to the automobile industry, its materials and design. He is recognized for having employed electronics and early computer technology to enable his sculptures to respond to external stimuli. Often the circuit boards specifically designed for a particular piece were, themselves, drawings.
Throughout his varied career, Pallas has created sculptures and reliefs employing a variety of subjects often imbuing the objects with humor and irony, yet connecting them to everyday life and experiences. JIM PALLAS (1941-) American painter, draughtsman, sculptor, and printmaker. An innovator of technological art beginning in the early 1960s, Pallas drew inspiration from his upbringing in Detroit, Michigan where he had early exposure to the automobile industry, its materials and design. He is recognized for having employed electronics and early computer technology to enable his sculptures to respond to external stimuli. Often the circuit boards specifically designed for a particular piece were, themselves, drawings.
Throughout his varied career, Pallas has created sculptures and reliefs employing a variety of subjects often imbuing the objects with humor and irony, yet connecting them to everyday life and experiences. Represented by the preeminent Allan Stone Gallery in New York for more than two decades, Pallas’s work has been exhibited in and collected by institutions nationwide including the Detroit Institute of Art, and Columbia University. In legacy, Jim Pallas’s artwork is allied with other innovative masters of the 1960s and 70s including Red Grooms, Larry Rivers, Andy Warhol, Claes Oldenburg, Yaakov Agam, Nam June Paik, Frieder Nake, Leslie Mezei, Georg Nees, A.
