Pierre Yermia
Large Bull by Pierre Yermia - Animal Bronze Sculpture, large size, outdoor

2015-2017

About the Item

Large Bull, bronze sculpture by French contemporary artist Pierre Yermia. 120 cm × 100 cm × 34 cm. Limited-edition of 8 copies and 4 artist's proofs, each signed and numbered. "The bull is the only masculine animal in my bestiary" says the artist, "his silent and serene presence imposes itself by his massive torso, supported by long legs which emphasize the frailty of his balance. His little head is crowned with horns which in this case evoke neither violence nor aggressiveness. All the animal's energy is contained in the tension of the different volumes. To me he symbolizes the protective strength of nature."
