About the Item
A lovely bronze sculpture of a Boar, or Pig, nose up. The artist, who died at age 98, worked with some of most notable sculptors of her time. She sculpted along side Elizabeth Frink, studied under Bernard Meadows, who in turn worked with Henry Moore.. It is said that she owes her art to Giacometti, but it was said by critics that her bronzes were imbued with warmth, poetry and a heartbeat. And they were fun. She showed at the Royal Academy and Royal Institute .
