About the Item

Certified by Rosario Coppel in Spain. The Resurrection of Christ Polychrome wood 43 cm high (38 cm from head to feet) Base: 10 x 10 cm "The diagonal composition, the posture, the stylization of the model, the perfect anatomical study, the physiognomic features, the way of making the hair in thick locks with little detail, the hands with very long fingers, the large, flat and thick feet, the monochromatic, thin and stiff cloths, and the small base imitating landscape, are the most personal characteristics of Ignaz Günter's style. All of them are present here and in the identified works of this great sculptor representative of Rococo art in Bavaria." -Fragment of the analysis performed by Rosario Coppel.
