About

Title: The Wonderful Three Authentic bronze sculpture with colored patina Limited Edition World Famous Contemporary Artists: Husband and wife team, Gillie and Marc, are New York and Sydney-based contemporary artists who collaborate to create artworks as one. Gillie and Marc first met in Hong Kong. On paper, their differences should have been incompatibilities, but their hearts said something else. Seven days later, they were married in the foothills of Mount Everest Award Winning: Garnering almost 30 prestigious awards for their work over the last 20 years in the USA, Australia, France, UK and Italy, Gillie and Marc's work continues to be admired and valued across the globe… and maybe in your home, too! Love The Last: Love The Last is a social movement driven by public art to raise awareness, funds and support for some of the world’s most endangered species. Monumental artists, Gillie and Marc, want to create art work all around the world that tell the stories of these endangered animals to drive positive change and ensure these animals don’t leave us forever. The full size outdoor sculpture of 'The Last Two' can be found at St Kilda Beach, Melbourne and depicts the last two Northern White Rhinos on the planet. New York, Sydney, London Shanghai: As well as their original modern artworks, sculptures and wall art prints, Gillie and Marc have become loved for their famous public artwork. Examples can be seen in New York, London and Sydney! Purchase this sculpture directly from the artists. This sculpture is a smaller version of the monumental sculpture, The Last Three. The aim was to inspire, educate, and mobilize a global community to raise their voices, and affect real change against rhino horn sales. From a population of 40,000 there were only three northern white rhinos left when this sculpture was made, making them the rarest animal on earth. Their names were Sudan, Najin and Fatu. The Last Three will create a legacy of their lives to save future rhino species from extinction. Rhino horns are worth more than their weight in gold, so rhinos are under constant threat from armies of poachers. Gillie and Marc’s sculpture will be used to raise critical funds needed to protect the northern white rhinos of which there are now only two left (Najin and Fatu), and to encourage participation in a petition for approaching Chinese and Vietnamese governments about eliminating the demand for rhino horns.
