These exceptional antique George V sterling silver table lighter and ash trays have a plain trefoil shaped form.
The surface of each stackable piece is plain and unembellished.
The swept upper portion of the table lighter features a push fit hallmarked cylindrical channel which allows access to the wick.
The underside of the table lighter bears the registration number '20877', in addition to the elucidating mark 'Registered' and the full hallmarks.

Written in Yiddish.
The oval small dish is designed with a newspaper banner and part of a front page. It is titled at the top "The Day- Jewish Journal" and below, a globe with torches to either side emanating light and the words, "The National Jewish Daily" and below that "New York Thursday February 2, 1961". The text below that is in Yiddish in Hebrew script. It comes is a small cardboard box which is most likely the original box.
Dimensions: 5 1/2 inches x 4 inches x 1/4 inches high.
Mark: black stamp in ther form of a black seal with the hand and pen in White and Piero Fornasetti Milan, Italy around the top and bottom.

An exceptional, fine and impressive pair of antique German silver wick trimmers and snuffer tray; an addition to our silver flatware collection.
This exceptional pair of antique German silver wick trimmers/snuffer has a hinged scissor action.
The anterior surface of these impressive candle wick trimmer scissors are embellished with cast and applied scrolling leaf ornamentation, accented with plaished style domed motif to the pivoting hinge.
The domed portion of the silver wick trimmer is further applied stylized foliate decoration.
The posterior surface is plain and unembellished, supported by three elongated baluster shaped feet.
These exceptional trimmers are accompanied by the original silver snuffer tray; this tray has a rectangular, rounded shaped form.
The surface of the tray is plain and unembellished.
The raised rounded sides of the tray are encompassed with a paralleling embossed decorated border accented with large scrolling leaf designs, in addition to a trellis style texture.
The tray is supported by four impressive bracket style feet, embellished with further embossed scrolling leaf ornamentation.
