French Leather Club Chair Restored from the Ground Up with Horsehair Padding
Located in Chicago, IL
French Art Deco Moustache Style Club Chair from the 1930's. Certainly one of the more iconic designs from the Art Deco era and a true French classic if there ever was one. Our inhouse Old Plank upholstery department completely disassembled this single French Leather Club Chair down to their bare wood frame and rebuilt every component using nothing but old-school methods. Our Old Plank upholstery department uses horsehair and shredded coco fibers for padding and we still hand-tie each and every coil spring in 8-directions. The results of spending the extra time and effort pays huge dividends as soon as you sit in one of our restored French Club Chairs and you do not sit on them, nor do you sink to the ground, but are rather cuddled in the chair. The 40-man hours of labor spent to properly rebuild each French Leather Club Chair in our Old Plank Upholstery department and an additional 24-hours spent in our finishing department in dying the Club Chair leather...

French Inspired Leather Club Chair with Ottoman Traditional Horsehair and Down
Located in Chicago, IL
Our French inspired Leather Club Chair with matching Leather Ottoman was not made in France, but rather Hong Kong and was crafted with a traditional solid wood frame, hand-tied conical springs on jute webbing. The Leather for our Club Chair was upholstered incorporating coco fibers with real horse hair, together with feather and down cushion fillings. BFelix has been manufacturing high quality furniture for almost 25-years and strictly uses 100% natural materials combined with old school methods. Construction techniques used are traditionally European; the leather is mostly from tanneries in Europe and US. All materials used within the French Inspired Leather Club Chair and Ottoman are guaranteed 100% natural from mother earth. Absolutely no PU or synthetic fibers are used. **Measurements provided are for the chair. The ottoman...

Vintage 1970s Techfab Chromcraft Latte Lounge Chairs
By Chromcraft
Located in Chicago, IL
Vintage Techfab chromcraft lounge chairs. Original vinyl upholstery in very nice condition. Arms are optional. Easily removable. Shown with arms in last photos. In the manner of Herman Miller Alexander Girard, Charles Eames, Milo Baughman History of Arnold Defense From sprockets to rockets: Our diverse manufacturing history It may surprise you to learn that our company originally manufactured trendy dinette sets and household furniture in a large factory on Semple Avenue in St. Louis, beginning in 1945 under the name of Chromcraft, a division of the American Fixture Corporation. The legacy company manufactured a wide range of popular furniture and commercial goods, ranging from desks and record racks, to ammunition containers to skateboards and even a few carousel horses through the late 1960s. In 1961, the dinette business was relocated to Mississippi, and Chromcraft also began producing rocket launchers for the government at the St. Louis facility. By 1967, the company had changed its name to Techfab and had upwards of 800 employees who produced 3,000 chairs, 250 case goods, 600 cardboard-tubed rocket launchers and up to 100 aluminum-tubed rocket launchers every day. In 1969, the company was purchased by Harvard Industries, and the business expanded into electronics during the 1970s. They began renting additional manufacturing space in Arnold, Mo., approximately 20 miles south of St. Louis, so the electronics business could take root. In 1976, the rental site was purchased outright and had expanded four times by the mid-1980s. During this time, the company had approximately 150 employees who designed and produced many handy everyday items such as smoke detectors, security systems, hospital bed switches, CB monitors, circuit boards, fuel primer pumps and remote automobile starters. Over the next decade, the company earned more defense contracts for rocket launchers and decided to divest the furniture business. The St. Louis facility was closed in 1998, and the rocket launcher business moved to the Arnold location. In that same timeframe, an 8,000-square foot warehouse was constructed to house production materials and the die-cast fuel pump...
